This fee will appear on your final bill at the end of your stay and is not included in the preliminary room rate displayed.
The following rooms are available for you and your four-legged friend:
One terrace suite, one family terrace suite, three panoramic suites, five double rooms, six single rooms and one junior suite.
Comfortable rooms and suites, tailored to your needs and those of your dog, invite you to stay, relax and enjoy.
For your four-legged companion, some of our rooms offer a dedicated place, including a cosy blanket and a bowl. For hygiene reasons, we kindly ask you to make sure that your dog does not use other textile areas, such as the bed, sofa or armchairs. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant or breakfast areas, but we are happy to welcome them in the EIX Bistro & Lounge.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Badhotel Sternhagen and will be happy to advise you on choosing the right room.
When travelling with your four-legged companion, please observe the following important information to ensure considerate behaviour towards other guests:
There are signposted beach sections for guests with dogs kept on a lead:
A dog off-lead area is located on the meadow below the crest of the dyke, between the Steinmarne outdoor seawater pool and the Düne1 restaurant in the Döse district.
Within the beach areas used for tourism, on the tidal flats, on the dykes and in the foreland of the dykes, all dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the year. On the dykes and in the foreland of the dykes, dogs are completely prohibited from 1 April to mid-November on areas where sheep graze as part of dyke maintenance. Designated fenced off-lead areas are exempt from these rules.
The Wadden Sea off the coast of the North Sea health resort of Cuxhaven is protected as part of the Wadden Sea National Park.
The following access points to the tidal flats can be used free of charge by guests with dogs kept on a lead during permitted tidal flat walking times, starting three hours before low tide: Duhnen, Wattwagen ramp beach access; Panoramahaus Döse; near the kitesurfing beach in Sahlenburg; beach access at the rescue station.
We will be happy to assist you planning your next holiday in Duhnen.
